"The iconic 1950′s Mexican chair oozes both retro and contemporary cool. Found under trees and in lounges throughout Mexico."
The Acapulco Chair is one these iconic design that always reminds me of 50s/60s American movies. Movies played in sunny California. I see Natalie Wood sitting in this chair at a pool in fancy house in Palm Springs. How about you?
She's truly a Supermodel with a great style! I wasn't sure about the new "Tie Dye Style" before, but when I saw Elle Macpherson in this Isabel Marrant jeans, I couldn't help myself than thinking about having a tie dye jeans at this moment. Her style is simply cool.
Oh Darlings, isn't this customizable necklace adorable?! Okay, I must admit that since I was a child, I was addicted to DIY things. Be it silk or oil painting, pastel drawing, pottery, sewing etc. My dad always encouraged me in all my creative works as a kid, teenager and adult. I always loved to accompany him when he went to the next hardware store. Hardware stores are my Disneyland!
Everyone is talking about Cambridge Satchels for a long time. I still haven't bought myself one because I was looking for an alternate satchel which is more minimalistic. When I got the latest edition of my favorite magazine "Monocle" I found in their special booklet "Creative Hong Kong" (in celebration of Hong Kong Design Year 2012) I fell in love with the bags from Seventy Eight Percent. Israel Shai Levy's brand creates canvas and leather travel bags that is unique, stylish and functional.
Don't you think that Seventy Eight Percent bags are stunner?! It's everything what I want: minimalistic and timeless.
A chalkboard wall in the kitchen or dinning room is currently a trend I figured out in many interior magazines and blog. It's very easy to make. You can find chalkboard paint in many hardware store. If you don't like to black, you can also use other colors. Have fun!
Few weeks ago I saw Clarins Colour Breeze Makeup Collection for Spring 2012 in the magazine. I fell immediately in love with their new lipstick colours. So I went to Berlin's Lafayette the next day and bought Joli Rouge Brillant No. 16 (see picture above, Nr. 3) "Pink Coral". This lipstick is semi-transparent and contains shimmer pigments for a multi-coloured effect and fuller looking lips. The texture is silky, smooth and deeply moisturising. This lipstick is so comfortable and the light scent of berries is summer love.
