Travel: Paris Is Always A Good Idea

Paris

Audrey Hepburn was right. Paris is always a good idea.

It's been few years since my last visit. As I told you before, I have met my lovely cousin Cesca from the Philippines and her charming fiancé in Paris. We have spent 2 funny evenings together (they have booked a complete Paris tour for 3 days) before they continued their Europe tour and left for Amsterdam.

My boyfriend and I cherished spring in the city of love and lights. I doesn't matter how often you are visiting Paris, there are always new things to see and places to explore. Paris never bores us. Here are some pictures from our Paris weekend trip:

La Rotonde

Breakfast at the famous Café de la Rotonde in Montparnasse Quarter. During the interwar period it was frequented by artists like Pablo Picasso (who had a studio near by), Amadeo Modigliani and writers like Ernest Hemmingway and Samuel Beckett.

Jardin Tuileries
You'll need comfortable shoes for a museum day in Paris.
Black sued shoes: Vans / Denim: 7 For All Mankind /
Coat: Comptoir des Cotonniers

I finally visited Claude Monet's Nyphéas at Musée de l'Orangerie hidden in the lovely Jardin Tuileries. My epic moment in Paris.

The famous gold clock at Musée d'Orsay

After Musée de l'Orangerie we went to Musée d'Orsay (buy a ticket for bought museums at L'Orangerie and you don't have to line at Musée d'Orsay).

Canal St. Martin

Everyone takes a Seine tour in Paris, but to do something different, book a canal cruise (we booked here: Canauxrama) along Canal St.-Martin in Montmatre Quarter / Northern Paris. The northeastern Parisian suburbs are neat.

More about Paris stories soon. Or tell me about your Paris trips?!

Have a nice weeks everyone!

xoxo
Lou
